Christopher Kanelos

Chris Kanelos is the Founding Partner of Kanelos Law, a Georgia-based firm dedicated to serving the restaurant industry. His practice focuses on helping restaurant owners, operators, and entrepreneurs build, grow, and protect their businesses, from concept and formation to expansion and beyond.

Chris’s deep appreciation for the restaurant industry began early. Raised in the Atlanta Greek community, he spent his childhood in family- and friend-owned restaurants, learning firsthand the commitment, creativity, and heart that drive restaurateurs. That experience continues to shape his approach to law: practical, relationship-focused, and grounded in the realities of running a business.

Before becoming an attorney, Chris worked with Chick-fil-A in both Georgia and California, rising from team member to management. He later waited tables while attending law school, giving him an insider’s understanding of the challenges his clients face every day.

Chris earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from Georgia State University. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and two young children, exploring local restaurants, and connecting with the same community that inspired his career.
